What we need to know about you

So that we can send you your lovely goggles, we need to collect a delivery name and address.

We also collect your email address so that we can send out the order confirmation and a phone number in case of problems delivering to you. We ask for optional delivery details so that we can be sure to deliver your parcel as soon as we can.

We collect these details on the basis of what is called ‘legitimate interest’. Essentially, when you place an order we are entering a contract with you – you pay us money and we send you goggles – we need the above details in order to make this happen. Simples.

What we’d like to collect for marketing purposes

As part of the checkout process you can choose to subscribe to our newsletter by ticking a box. To be honest we rarely send out newsletters, and, if we do, they’re generally only to let you know about special offers.

In the future, and only if you have opted into the newsletter, we may send you articles and other information we think you’d find useful. You can opt out of these newsletters at any time by using the unsubscribe button that you’ll find at the bottom of the email. Or just email us at

What we don’t collect

Because we use PayPal to process payments we do not collect your payment details or data relating to your credit card, these are all kept within PayPal.

Sharing your information with others

Your data is currently shared with other companies for two reasons:

          1.  Order processing and dispatch – this is carried out by an external order handling company

          2.  Marketing – this is carried out by an external marketing company

Both of these companies are based in the UK and are compliant with European privacy legislation. Your data is stored and processed on secure servers within the European Economic Area.

We do not share marketing data with other companies, so you won’t receive unexpected catalogues because we’ve sold your data.

We may share customer data in the unlikely event that we sell or buy any business or assets; in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer. Also if our assets are acquired by a third party; in which case the personal data we hold would be one of the transferred assets.

We are also under a duty to share customer data in order to comply with any legal obligation. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

How long do we keep your data?

Because we hope you will be a repeat happy customer, we will keep your data for a while so that we have your order history. However, if you haven’t purchased with us for four years, then we’ll delete it. No hard feelings.

We cannot identify individuals through the Analytics data, it only provides us with information on trends and patterns of site use. We do collect browser based data about your interests and preferences, but don’t use this for advertising.

If you would like to be removed from being tracked by our Analytics, then please email with your IP address and we will block this from being tracked.

We use HubSpot to collect information that would allow us to email you. You can find more information about how Hubspot uses cookies on the Hubspot support pages.
